Chess Club with Mr. Vasile
During this class students will learn everything they need to know about chess. This will include what each chess piece does and how they move. You will learn strategies, moves and checkmates to help win a game. You will get to play chess using an app that gives hints about how to move the pieces as well as playing on different difficulty levels. After getting comfortable and understanding the game of chess, the students will get to play each other in one on one tournaments using an actual chess board. The main goal is for students to enjoy the game of chess, socialize with each other and gain knowledge in a lifetime game.
